Therapeutic and Wellness Subsidy for Intercountry Adoptees
Project Mission
In 2022, we launched our Therapeutic and Wellness Subsidy for Intercountry Adoptees program, offering financial assistance to aid and supplement their journey toward wellness and healing.
Project Goal
This subsidy program allows adoptees to access therapy, counseling, and wellness services that can be critical in their journey toward healing. Our goal is to empower intercountry adoptees by providing the resources, support, and community connections they need to navigate their unique journeys with confidence and dignity.
We aim to:
Address barriers to legal processes like name changes and citizenship applications.
Promote mental health and emotional well-being through accessible therapy and counseling.
Support professional growth with identity-affirming career counseling.
Foster creativity and healing through art, music, and creative therapies.
Build a strong, inclusive adoptee community by connecting individuals to networks and resources.
